Swara Bhaskar, who is known for her bold statements, is in trouble for using the wrong set of words at the talk show hosted by Abish Mathew. While the format of the show is different from those telecasted on television shows, the Twitterati troll army has made the actress their latest target.

Recently, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar and stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra appeared at a web talk show, Son of Abish, hosted by stand-up comedian Abish Mathew. During the show, Swara and Kunal interacted with the host and had a gala time as they shared many stories and incidents. However, when Swara shared a story about a child, the actress used a certain vocabulary which was received negatively by many.

While the actress used the language since the format of the show was more relaxed, words used by her related to children caused her trouble. Twitteratis trended #SwaraAunty among top trends at the microblogging website. On the other hand, an NGO filed a complaint against the actress with National Commission for Protection of Child Rights for her comment.

A BJP leader has also approached the National Commission for Protection of Child for her ‘physical and mental exploitation’ of the child and using ‘racist’ comment for the child who belongs from the southern part of India. Meanwhile, Swara Bhaskar has come up with a clarification for her comment and said that her statement shouldn’t be considered as child abuse.
