Sushmita Sen, who triumphed in the beauty pageant almost thirty years ago, brought honour to her nation and won millions of fans with her charm, attractiveness, and acting skills. Sushmita made her cinematic debut with the 1996 movie Dasta. Since then, she has been in a number of films, including Biwi No. 1, Aaghaaz, Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Samay: When Time Strikes, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Do Knot Disturb, and others. With a brand-new web series, the actress is returned to wow her fans once more.

Recently, Sushmita revealed her new web series on her social media accounts. The actress disclosed that she will play transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant in the Taali. Sushmita posted the initial view with the caption: “Taali – बजाऊँगी नहीं, बजवाऊँगी! #firstlook as #ShreegauriSawant.  Nothing makes me happier or more appreciative than the opportunity to depict such a lovely lady and share her tale with the world. Here’ s to life and to everyone’s right to live with dignity! I love you all! #duggadugga.” The release date has not yet been made public.

Sushmita recently shared a photo on Instagram with the announcement that she is getting ready for a new web series. “Sun Set…Sen Rise!!! Life has been really hectic as I prepare to shoot a brand-new web series that is very close to my heart. I adore and miss you guys very much! She wrote, “#duggadugga.”

The Dulha Mil Gaya actress made her digital television debut in the crime-thriller drama streaming television series Aarya, which premiered on Disney+Hotstar, in the meanwhile. For the second season, which was released in December 2021, she came back.  The third season of Aarya hasn’t yet had a release date announced by the show’s creators, though.

A transgender activist named Gauri Sawant founded the Sakhi Char Chowghi Trust in 2000. The NGO encourages safe sex and offers counselling to the transgender community. According to sources, there will be six episodes of this series, and 300 transgender artists have been engaged for key crowd moments in the film.

Sushmita mentioned in her post that filming for this project is now underway. The team will move to a bungalow in Irla after the filming, according to sources, which is taking place at a studio in Dahisar. Famous Marathi director Ravi Jadhav will direct “Taali.”
