The prime suspect in the Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide case, Rhea Chakraborty, was presented before Narcotics Control Bureau for three days for thorough interrogation and the latest report has it that the actress has been arrested. Rhea appeared before the NCB team for the third day in a row today and after hours-long grilling session, the actress reportedly accepted involvement with drugs.
Weeks ago, CBI was appointed to probe the alleged suicide case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was labelled as the prime suspect. While the family of the late actor accused Chakraborty of several charges, an alleged drug angle came forward during the probe by ED and NCB was called to investigate the case. Upon investigation, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty was arrested earlier and following him, Rhea has been arrested today after her reported confession.
As per the report, Rhea Chakraborty admitted that she used to take drugs occasionally and purchased drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput as well. After presenting sufficient evidence in front of the actress during the interrogation, she broke down and admitted her illegal involvements. After the confession, Rhea was arrested by the NCB officials and is currently being sent for medical tests as per the standard norms.
