While after global digital protests, the Supreme Court allowed CBI probe in the alleged suicide case, new revelations about the actor are being made almost every day. Remembering the actor for his good deeds, his close friend revealed that he did his last movie, Dil Bechara, for half his usual remuneration.

As per the sources, a close friend of Sushant Singh Rajput claims that he was present during the development of contract for Dil Bechara and the actor chose to settle for around INR 3 crore while his usual tune for Bollywood movies revolved around INR 6-8 crores. When asked for the reason, the source mentioned that Rajput had promised his friend Mukesh Chhabra to act in his directorial debut and when the movie fell short of funding, he decided to cut down his fee.

Earlier titled as Kizzie Aur MannyDil Bechara faced financial challenges during its development which caused the movie to postpone for a year. Since Chhabra launched the actor and the two shared a warm friendship, Sushant Singh Rajput saw the challenges faced by the team and agreed to do the movie for half his fee for his friend’s directorial debut. Sushant also had a long-standing relationship with the production banner.

Dil Bechara broke numerous records starting from its trailer release to its satellite premiere and the audiences came in millions to memories the last movie of the late actor. Currently, the CBI has started its probe after two and a half month of the actor’s demise.
