The Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is noted for his philanthropy work and he has always been forward to support a cause. While his upcoming movie, Drive, is amidst controversy concerning its release date, the actor came out in public to release a statement regarding the movie release.

Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani, the movie has missed its release for a record of four times and yet the actual release date has not been confirmed by the producer Karan Johar. While the earlier updates mentioned that the makers of the movie are not satisfied with the current VFX going on in the high-speed actioner and they are trying to make it look more authentic. Meanwhile, it was also said that a certain sequence of the movie needs to be reshot.

While the movie is not seeing a theatre any soon, the lead actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, said that he has already donated the movie received from the movie to flood victims. Sushant has donated 1 crore INR to the Kerala state after the August 2018 floods and 1.25 crore INR to the Nagaland, which combined was his total pay for the movie Drive.

The actor said that he would not feel bad if the movie doesn’t release since he has already given all the movie for a good cause. Meanwhile, producer Karan Johar has hinted that the movie might have a digital release instead of a theatrical release. Along with Sushant Singh Rajput, the movie also stars Jacqueline Fernandez in prominent character.
