Addressing the rumours, the producers of his upcoming film Safar, Echelon Productions, offered their support for Deol.
Echelon Productions clarified that the video was part of a scene from the film Safar, where Sunny Deol was shooting a night schedule. Producer Vishal Rana urged fans to refrain from spreading false information about the leaked video circulating on the internet. Sunny Deol himself posted a clarification on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin take.”

The video, shot at Juhu Circle in suburban Mumbai, showed the actor struggling to walk with a goofy smile. He stopped in front of an auto-rickshaw, and the driver assisted him in getting seated. The video gained attention due to Deol’s usual intense and serious onscreen persona.
In terms of upcoming projects, Sunny Deol is set to work on Border 2 in the second half of 2024. Additionally, he is involved in a film produced by Aamir Khan Productions
