In addition to his upcoming collaboration with Aamir Khan, it’s reported that he has signed another significant film, this time directed by the renowned duo Abbas-Mustan, known for their slick action sequences and fast-paced thrillers. The film is set to be an action-packed entertainer produced by Vishal Rana.
This project marks the first-time collaboration between the director duo and Sunny Deol. According to an insider mentioned in a report, “Abbas Mustan have worked with Bobby Deol in multiple films, and this would be their first stint with Sunny Deol. Vishal has got together this dynamic force and is set to put it in motion soon.”
Reportedly, Sunny Deol will complete the shooting for Lahore 1947, a highly anticipated film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan, before diving into these new projects. Providing more details on the upcoming venture, the source explained, “Sunny and Abbas Mustan have been discussing a project for a while now, and things have fallen into place. It’s a big-scale action thriller with the typical twists and turns that the maverick director duo is known for. It is currently in the pre-production stage and will go into production in the first quarter of 2024.” The source also mentioned that the team is actively involved in the casting process, and fans can expect an official announcement soon.
Produced under the banner of Echleon Productions, this untitled project is slated for release towards the end of the next year. Fans of Sunny Deol and action-packed thrillers can certainly look forward to an exciting cinematic experience.
