Sonu Sood became the crowd favourite with his philanthropic work during the testing times of the Coronavirus pandemic and the actor has been actively helping everyone he can connect with. Recently, the actor was seen with his son riding a brand new Rs. 3 Crore luxury cars and the netizens speculated that it is a present for his son, Ishaan, on Father’s day. However, the actor addressed his fans and refute such claims.

In a recent interaction, Sonu Sood said that the news of buying a luxury car for his son is untrue and the car was brought to their home for a test run. “The car was brought to our home for a trial. We went on a test run. But that’s it. We didn’t buy the car,” he said. The actor further introspected the link with the rumours of luxury-car indulgence and Father’s day by saying, “Why would I gift my son a car on Father’s Day? Shouldn’t he be gifting me something? After all it’s my day! Jokes aside, the best Father’s Day gift my two sons can gift me is to spend the day with me.”

Interestingly, the netizens responded to the rumours very positively and showered their love for the father-son duo. Sonu addressed the unconditional love from his fans and said, “They said, if I had purchased a car it’s about time I did something for myself and my family. This positivity and unquestioning love that I’ve got during these months when I have reached out to people with a helping hand are the best gift I’ve received in my life.”

While the actor has been actively helping the needy amidst the pandemic, on the work front, he will soon be seen playing a key role in the upcoming Telugu-language movie, Acharya. The actor also has been filming for Akshay Kumar starrer Prithviraj and Tamil-language movie, Thamilarasan, co-starring Vijay Antony.
