Actor Sonu Sood has recently been everyone’s favourite for his active contribution and participation in the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor has been supporting people and helping them deal with the ongoing wave. From providing relief to urging the Government to postpone board examination for students, he has won over everyone heart by voicing for several of them. The actor, who was recently a chief guest at the recent episode of the reality show “Dance Deewane”, has offered to provide food for the entire village of one of the contestants of the show.

The contestant Uday Singh who has not given up on his dream to be a dancer, even though he belongs to the slums and is a daily wage earner from a small settlement in Neemuch, shared on the show how everyone in his village is struggling to make ends meet due to the current lockdown situation. It felt heartbreaking to know about the condition of these people who are living below the poverty line. Sonu, without giving a second thought, urgently promised Uday that he would readily be providing food for his entire village till the lockdown is lifted and things get back to normal in order to help him and reduce the pressure the helpless men are dealing with.

He told Uday precisely that he is there for the people of his village and that however long the lockdown lasts, whether it lasts for one month or two months or even six months, Sood will ensure that the contestant’s whole village will get timely rations. He asked the contestant to tell his fellow-men to not take any stress and made him believe that no one will be left hungry there, no matter how long the lockdown lasts.

Sonu Sood has lent a hand by arranging beds and oxygen cylinders and life-saving injections for the victims. He is trying everything in his power to reach out to as many people as he can and help them. In the year 2020 as well, Sonu had worked
and helped migrants reach their hometowns and villages and also provided e-rickshaws for those who were unemployed and left devastated by the first wave of the disease in India.
