Ever since the nationwide lockdown was announced to curb the spread of Coronavirus last year, Sonu Sood has come out as the Messiah for those in need. The actor has been working hard for his humanitarian work for over a year and everyone is thankful for his selfless efforts to make a change. While Sonu keeps on taking new initiatives, netizens have been trending topics asking him to run for the Indian Prime Minister in the next election.

Sonu Sood’s efforts to help people as much as possible during the pandemic has made him a real-life hero and from celebrities to politicians, everyone has appreciated his fabulous job. Meanwhile, netizens have been debating if he is the right fit for the Prime Minister’s chair. The actor who is known for very candid with his replies recently opened up on running in elections.

Recently when the actor came out of his residence to distribute drinks to paparazzi waiting outside his house and had a brief interaction. When some raised the question if he would like to run for the Prime Minister’s election, Sonu candidly replied that it is not his job. “Hum aam insaan ache hai bhai, aam insaan better hai. Bhai log khade hai na humare, kya karenge elections mein khade ho ke? Wo apna kaam nahi hai na (Translated – I am a common man and I am fine being a common man. Our brothers are running in elections, what would I do in elections? It is not my field of work),” said Sonu.
