The newlywed Vicky Kaushal is already in the work mode and he kickstarted filming of his next, Luka Chuppi 2, which is a sequel to the comedy-drama released in 2019. However, the actor found himself in trouble when a resident of Indore filed a complaint against him arising from a misunderstanding. After investigating the matter, the police has clarified that Vicky was not at fault.

Vicky Kaushal recently started filming his next with co-actor Sara Ali Khan and the two were seen riding a motorcycle in Indore. Soon after a picture of them from the set of the movie went viral on the internet, a resident of Indore accused the actor of allegedly illegally using his number plate in the movie without his permission and a complaint was registered. In response, Rajendra Soni, sub-inspector of Indore’s Banganga area said, “We received a complaint. We will see whether the number plate was used illegally. Action will be taken as per provisions of the Motor Vehicle Act. If the film unit is in Indore, we will try probing them.”

Later, it was clarified that the misunderstanding was created because of a bolt fixed in the middle of the number plate used on Vicky Kaushal’s bike in the movie sequence. As per the police statement, the bolt caused the number to appear as that of the complainant and asserted that the production house owns the two-wheeler and has the right to use it in the movie. “We investigated the matter and found that the vehicle was not 4872 (as alleged by the complainant). The number was 1872 but due to a bolt, no 1 looked like number 4. They had permission for that number plate. We found no irregularities in it,” Rajendra Soni clarified.
