Singer Nikhita Gandhi wants to continue making music during the pandemic and finds the Indie genre to be very exciting. The singer says that she is excited to be a part of this new wave of Indie releases. She informs us that she is dropping another single very soon in which the people will get to hear Mawaali Dil’s female version. She says that in a nutshell, it will include a lot of self-written melodies.

Nikhita is quite enthusiastic because she finds the spectrum to be so global currently and for her, to be a part of this movement is nothing less than a dream come true. The singer has got the opportunity to collaborate with the American RnB artiste Pink Sweats for the song ‘At my worst’ and be on playlists with the pop star Rihanna and Kehlani. She says that if she went back to the 13-year old girl in herself and told her that all of this would be happening in future, she would never have believed her.

Talking about her recent number “Karobaar Dil Ka”, the singer reveals that it was musician Kushal Mangal who came to her with the idea. She informs that Kushal has been her bandmate and he’s been playing the keys with her for the past couple of years. She thinks that’s he a brilliant musician, but before that, he is a wonderful person.

The musician began to release his own compositions in 2020 and he came to Nikhita with ‘Karobaar Dil Ka’ and requested that he really wanted her to sing the last stanza. Gandhi agreed before she would even listen to the song because she said that she is aware of his greatness. The singer says that finally when she did listen to it, she fell in love with the simple, yet resonating melody of the song. She calls it a mature and beautiful song and hopes that people enjoy listening to it.
