Bollywood fans have been eagerly following the wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, with numerous updates flooding social media. As a close friend of the couple and a Dharma-house talent, Karan Johar attended all of the functions, including the Mumbai reception. Recent reports suggest that following their wedding, the couple has signed a deal with Dharma Productions.
According to rumors, Sidharth and Kiara have signed a three-film deal with Dharma Productions. While no official statement has been made, sources suggest that the films will fall under the musical rom-com genre. The couple has only worked together in the biographical drama Shershaah, based on the life of Vikram Batra.
Karan Johar has been a mentor to the couple, having worked with them early on in their careers. Kiara’s breakout role came in the Karan Johar-produced anthology film Lust Stories, while Sidharth made his debut in the filmmaker’s directorial Student Of The Year. Karan has also referred to Kiara as Dharma’s ‘lucky mascot.’
On the work front, Sidharth is set to appear in Yodha, a Dharma-produced action entertainer starring Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. Kiara will appear in the multi-lingual film RC15 opposite Ram Charan, as well as the romance drama Satyaprem Ki Katha starring Kartik Aaryan.
