Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media & Entertainment recently announced their film ‘Jabariya Jodi’ with Bollywood stars Parineeti Chopra and Siddharth Malhotra.

In the teaser posted by Siddharth, it looks like the audience is in for another wedding themed movie , however, this time it’s going to be a “Surprise Shaadi”. The shooting of their new romantic comedy has already begun.
The actors were last seen together in ‘Hassee toh Phassee’ in 2014, where in their chemistry was very well received and appreciated by the audience. Both the actors Box office performance has been pretty rough in the last few years despite of being associated with big banner films and directors.
After the disappointing failures of Gentleman and Aiyaary, Siddharth can only hope that this project brings him back in form. He is also slated to play the character of Late Capt. Vikram Batra in his biopic directed by Karan Johar.
Parineeti’s last big hit was Rohit Shetty’s multi starrer Golmaan Again, where she played a Ghost and currently she is looking forward for the release of her movie Namaste England along with Arjun Kapoor.
