Actress Shweta Tripathi has wrapped up the shoot for the upcoming series “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein” in Manali amidst the second wave of the Covid pandemic. The actress admits that the deadline for the shoot mattered way more than how much it normally does.
The cast is amongst the first ones to wrap up the series in totality during these times, Shweta says that this wasn’t just any deadline and if it wasn’t to be followed it wouldn’t mean they’d lose out on the budget or face actors’ availability issues, which generally happens on the shoots. She says that there was an entirely new problem in which no one knew how to deal with it properly besides following protocol.
Additionally, she informed that everyone was learning things on the job, including spot boy to the producer, and even the actors and the director. Shweta and the team were aware of having a time crunch, so they took every possible step to stay disciplined and efficient on set, and follow the protocol. The time crunch, she believes was so intense that supposedly it was a day shoot, they had to ensure that the schedule was complete before they lost sunlight.
Similarly, with the night shoots, they had to be wrapped up before morning. On the last day, Shweta recalls that everyone was literally racing against the time of dawn to complete the shoot because thereafter there was going to be absolutely no scope of another day to spare. “Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein” will also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin.
