Chandra Nandani actress Shweta Basu Prasad took to her social media handle to announce a separation from Rohit Mittal as they decided to end their marriage after nearly a year. For the uninitiated, Shweta and Rohit had their first met during work and after dating for around 4 years, the couple tied the knot on 13th December last year. However, they came to a mutual decision of parting ways after months of their marriage.
Shweta Basu Prasad took to her Instagram handle to break the news to her fans as she wrote, “Hi everyone, Rohit Mittal and I have mutually decided to part our ways and end our marriage. After months of contemplation, we arrived at this decision few months ago in each other’s best interest, as individuals. Not every book is supposed to be read cover to cover, that doesn’t mean the book is bad, or one can’t read, some things are just best left unfinished. Thank you Rohit for the irreplaceable memories and always inspiring me. Have a great life ahead, forever your cheerleader.”

The actress mentioned that their separation is mutual and thanked Rohit Mittal for memories that he gave her. She also wished him luck for his future. The Makdee actress and filmmaker Rohit Mittal tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Pune as per both Bengali and Marwari traditions in December last year.
