Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer romantic drama, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, released on the big screens today but sadly movie buffs in Middle Eastern countries will not get to see the gay-love story in the theatres. The Hitesh Kewalya directorial has been banned in Dubai and UAE for its breaking-stereotypes content.
However, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan has not been banned in the Middle Eastern countries particularly but any movie related to the homosexual theme gets banned in the region without no plead. While the Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar’s on-screen love story was fated to be banned in Dubai and UAE, the makers of the movie tried to convince the board. As per reports, producers of the movie proposed to omit the much-talked kissing scene between the lead pair but it still didn’t get approved as it is the content that is of concern.
Meanwhile, the movie released with positive speculation in other countries including India on the occasion of Shivaratri and head-on colliding with Vicky Kaushal’s horror thriller, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship.
