Priyaank also happens to be the son of veteran actress Padmini Kolharpure and filmmaker Pradeep Sharma.  He did his acting course from ‘The Lee Strasberg Institute’ in New York and was producer Prachi’s classmate in school, who upon seeing his pictures shown by her casting director decided to approach him for her movie, as he fit perfectly for the character required in Sab Kushal Mangal.

The film will be directed by first time director Karan Kashyap who has earlier assisted the likes of Mani Ratnam in Raavan, Shimit Amin from Chak De! India fame and Shaad Ali on Bunty Aur Babli.

The film is a situational comedy set in Jharkhand. Priyaank is said to have begun his workshops for the movie in November last year.

All set to go on floors in February, we wish the actor many congratulations and all the best for his journey as an actor in the world of entertainment and cinema.
