Pratik Gandhi rose to fame with the humongous success of his web series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, and became a superstar overnight. The actor has been getting approached for several big banner projects and he had recently signed a movie with Vidya Balan which will also mark the directorial debut of Shirsha Guha Thakurta.

It was earlier informed that Pratik Gandhi and Vidya Balan are coming together for the first time in Shirsha Guha Tharkurta’s directorial debut and the fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates. According to a source close to the development of the project, the makers have decided on a working title of ‘Lovers’ for the movie and the story will challenge patriarchal norms of the society.

The movie will be shot across Mumbai and a hill station in Tamil Nadu called Coonoor. The makers are currently working on chalking out the dates of their schedule and the movie is expected to go on the floors soon. Meanwhile, the rest of the details about the cast and crew are kept under wraps.
