Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon had joined hands for the romantic comedy, Luka Chuppi, and their fans approved their fresh on-screen pairing. Two years later, the duo is coming together for another romantic drama and the fans couldn’t wait for the two to reunite on the big screen. Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan will be featuring in the Hindi remake of the superhit action drama, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Announcing the remake featuring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, filmmaker Bhushan Kumar says, “I’ve been wanting to mount a big scale family action packed musical film for long time, I’m excited to be teaming up with Rohit Dhawan, Allu Arvind and Aman Gill on this film, I’m eagerly looking forward to the magic Kartik, Kriti, Pritam and the rest of the team will create in Shehzada.”

The official remake titled Shehzada will be helmed by Rohit Dhawan and features Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in the key roles. The action-packed musical family drama will be shot across Mumbai and Delhi in the upcoming months on a lavish scale. The idea is to recreate the magic and vibe created by the Allu Arjun starrer.

The original Telugu-language action-drama features Allu Arjun in the lead alongside Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj, and Vaishnavi Chaitanya in the key roles. The movie and its songs managed to break several records and set new benchmarks for the South Indian film industry.
