Television actor Shehnaaz Gill’s father Santokh Singh Sukh recently joined the political party, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and he was shot on Saturday by two men on a motorcycle. As per the reports, Santokh Singh Sukh was on his way back home from a political event in Amritsar when the unfortunate incident happened but luckily he escaped the attack unhurt.
Santokh Singh Sukh has recently joined BJP ahead of the Assembly Elections in 2022 and he went to a political event on Saturday. While returning from the same, the politician was reportedly attacked by two unidentified but armed men. His security personnel reportedly went for a loo break when his car was approached by the unidentified attackers. When Santokh rolled down the windows of his car, he was shot at. Fortunately, his security personnel came back on time and scared off the attackers.
The local police are currently investigating the incident and FIR is yet to be registered in relation to the unfortunate event. Santokh Singh Sukh is unharmed and security has been tightened to avoid similar incidents happening again.
On the other hand, Shehnaaz Gill has resumed her work after months and was last seen at the engagement party of her manager. The actress avoided public presence after the unfortunate death of his alleged boyfriend, Sidharth Shukla, who suffered a fatal heart attack in September this year.
