American actor Zachary Levi will soon be reprising his comic-book based superhero character of Shazam in the DCEU’s upcoming movie, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and while his fans wait to see him back in superhero action, the actor has been facing a rather unique problem. In a recent social media video, Zachary asked his fans to not show up on his doorsteps uninvited.
Zachary enjoys a great fan following around the globe for his portrayal of characters in his movies. However, some fans cross the line to meet their idols and the actor reveals that some fans visit his home uninvited. The actor took to his Instagram handle to share a quick PSA warning for fans who visit him unannounced. He mentions that he has been facing it more often and tells that he bumped into an uninvited fangirl just 30 minutes before making the video.
In the video, the actor can be seen speaking, “Don’t show up at people’s houses, it’s rude, it’s unnerving, it’s unsettling, and it’s not going to yield the reward that you think it’s going to yield because people will know that you are lying to them.” The actor further mentions, “I feel it’s very disrespectful because if you think that I’m dumb enough to fall for the charade that you are doing on my front doorstep, then no, that’s not the case.”
On the work front, Zachary recently wrapped the filming of his upcoming DCEU movie, Shazam 2. The actor will also be seen in the upcoming film American Underdog where he will be starring as Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner.
