Vaani Kapoor will be teaming up with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in the Karan Malhotra directorial, Shamshera, and the actress feels that the movie is made for an experience on the big screen. In a recent interaction with the entertainment news portal Pinkvilla, Vaani shared her take on the digital releases and some updates about her movie with Ranbir Kapoor.

Sharing her opinion on the digital release of the movie, she said, “It will release when the things fully normalise. It is meant for a theatrical experience. I have seen the film, and it’s looking beautiful. It’s brilliantly made. I am not saying because I am in it, but to see Ranbir Kapoor in this part is very refreshing.”

Further sharing that the movie is made for a family, she added “He (Karan Malhotra) has made a film which provides entertainment to all segment people, all kind of audiences. The makers are waiting for the right time when one has 100 per cent occupancy in theatres. It’s a kind of film that requires the theatrical experience.”

Helmed by Karan Malhotra, Shamshera features Ranbir Kapoor in a double role with Vaani Kapoor playing the female lead. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist.
