While the actor was supposedly shooting for Karan Johar’s Yoddha next, the latest report suggests that he is planning to wrap his digital debut before anything.

As per a source close to the actor, Shahid Kapoor has decided to first complete the shooting of his digital debut web series with Amazon Prime Video before commencing shooting for Yoddha with Disha Patani as his reel love interest. The untitled web series is touted to be an action thriller based in Mumbai and Delhi and will be shot extensively between the two cities. The series will be helmed by critically acclaimed filmmaker duo, Raj and DK.

Amazon Prime Video’s digital series is expected to go on the floors in the first month of January and if everything materializes as planned, the shooting will be wrapped up by April.
