Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has a number of projects under his belt after his super successful outing with Kiara Advani, Kabir Singh. The romantic drama opened newer opportunities for both the actors and they have been busy signing new projects. Earlier it was informed that Shahid Kapoor has signed a project with Shashank Khaitan alongside Disha Patani but later the rumours suggested that Shahid has decided to walk out of the movie.

Refuting such claims, the filmmaker Shashank Khaitan has confirmed that he is still in talks with the Kabir Singh actor for his upcoming actioner. Shashank said that they are awaiting new dates from the actor given the current pandemic crisis and associated lockdowns changing timelines. He also mentioned that the movie will go on the floors only after the pandemic pass by entirely.

The makers of Yoddha have plans to shoot the movie in multiple countries and the team is waiting for normalcy to be restored before gearing up for the shooting. Earlier, Shahid Kapoor was to shoot for Yoddha after the completion of his sports drama Jersey, however for reasons unknown, he gave a green signal to Raj and DK’s web series before Shashank’s ambitious project.

To be helmed by Shashank Khaitan, Yoddha features Shahid Kapoor and Disha Patani in the key roles and will also mark their first onscreen collaboration. More details about the project are kept under tight wraps.
