Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala recently shared an exciting update about his upcoming collaboration with director Vishal Bhardwaj, sparking major buzz in Bollywood. The untitled film, featuring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri in lead roles, is set to start filming on January 6, 2025, and is slated for release on December 5, 2025. Adding to the excitement, the ensemble cast also includes Nana Patekar and Randeep Hooda.
According to a source, the first schedule of the film will take place at Ballard Pier in South Mumbai, where an elaborate set has been constructed for key scenes. “The shoot will last 20-25 days, and all the main actors, including Shahid, Triptii, Nana Patekar, and Randeep Hooda, will participate in this schedule,” the insider revealed.
Production designer Mustafa Stationwala, known for his work on Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), Hindi Medium (2017), and Airlift (2016), has been roped in to create the film’s grand yet authentic sets. “Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj have meticulously planned the shooting schedule. The aim is to wrap up filming on time and focus on post-production, ensuring the film is ready for its December release,” added the source.
This untitled project is just one of several high-profile releases from Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in 2025. The production house will also deliver Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, during Eid; the comedy Housefull 5 on June 6; and Tiger Shroff’s action-packed Baaghi 4 on September 5. Notably, Sajid Nadiadwala remains the only Bollywood producer with multiple solo mega-releases under his banner.
Meanwhile, fans of Salman Khan can gear up for the teaser of Sikandar, which Nadiadwala plans to unveil on Salman’s birthday, December 27. With such a packed lineup, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the powerhouse producer.
