Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for almost a year now and his fans have been desperately waiting to see him on the big screen again. While the actor recently announced cameos in a couple of big banner movies, he finally has plans to start shooting for his next movie helmed by renowned director Rajkumar Hirani.
While the actor has been speculated to be a part of a number of projects that includes Atlee directorial tentatively titled as Atlee, Ali Abbas Zafar’s actioner and Rajkumar Hirani’s next, the actor had to choose between the three. However, a source close to the star informs that Shah Rukh Khan has given his nod to all the three projects and will work on them one after another.
Meanwhile, the report published in entertainment portal Pinkvilla claims that Rajkumar Hirani had locked his dates from April 2020 and the speculated movie is expected to start right away. Meanwhile, other directors might have to wait for their turns since Shah Rukh Khan will also be making a cameo in the superhero trilogy Brahmastra and possibly appear in Aamir Khan’s Hindi adaptation of classic Hollywood film Forrest Gump originally starring Tom Hank.
On the other hand, Rajkumar Hirani has been trying to collaborate with ‘King Khan’ for many years since the actor was his first choice for Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots as well.
