Shah Rukh Khan has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for the longest in his career and he will be making a comeback with Pathan which is one of the most anticipated upcoming movies. Meanwhile, the 55-year-old actor will next be seen in Atlee directorial and the latest report suggests that he will be essaying a double role in the movie.

The movie tentatively titled Jawaan has been in the headlines for the longest for the highly anticipated collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee. While the detail of the movie has been kept under tight wraps, a source close to the development of the movie reveals an interesting detail about the movie. According to a report published in the entertainment portal Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a dual character in the movie touted to be a grand scale drama.

As per the report, Shah Rukh Khan will be playing the character of both the father and the son in the movie. The movie is said to be a crime thriller in a similar tone to the popular series, Money Heist, with an Indian masala twist. The movie went on the floors recently and the shoot is currently underway in Mumbai after they finished their Pune schedule.

Helmed by Atlee, the movie will feature Shah Rukh Khan in a double role along with Priyamani and Nayanthara playing key roles. It will also mark their first collaboration together.
