Shah Rukh Khan announces global film festival ahead of his 60th birthday celebration

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled a special film festival celebrating his extraordinary journey in Indian cinema, giving fans the opportunity to relive his most iconic performances on the big screen. Titled The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival, the event will take place across India and select international locations as part of a grand tribute to the actor’s legacy ahead of his 60th birthday on November 2.

On Friday, the Dilwale star shared the announcement on Instagram with a touching note reflecting his deep bond with cinema. Alongside a video, he wrote, “Main kaun hoon, kaun nahi… doesn’t really matter, as long as the lights, camera, and a little bit of love are still rolling. See you at the #ShahRukhKhanFilmFestival starting today.”

The two-week celebration begins today and will feature seven of Shah Rukh Khan’s most beloved films, including Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Dil Se, Devdas, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, and Jawan. Screenings will be hosted in collaboration with PVR INOX and Cinepolis across more than 75 theatres in over 30 Indian cities.

Taking the celebration global, YRF International will also bring the festival to audiences in the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. The event promises a nostalgic cinematic experience for fans, offering a chance to witness Shah Rukh Khan’s timeless performances once again on the silver screen.
