Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha is in the news ever since the actor announced the project. The movie will be a Hindi adaptation of the iconic Hollywood flick Forrest Gump starring Tom Hank and reports suggest that the movie is going to be bigger than ever. While Aamir and Kareena will be recreating their on-screen chemistry, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have special roles to play in the plot.
According to entertainment portal koimoi.com, Shah Rukh Khan will be essaying an important character in the Indian version of Forrest Gump and it will not be a blink-and-miss cameo. As per the report, Aamir Khan has saved a prominent character for King Khan without which the plotline will lose solidarity. However, a source close to the development of the movie has it that Salman Khan will also play a role in the Aamir Khan starrer.
While Salman is yet to sign the dotted line, if things go as planned, we might get to see the reunion of ‘Karan’ and ‘Arjun’ on the big screen in Laal Singh Chaddha. With Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir in the same movie, we cannot expect anything than an explosion at the box office.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of Robert Zemeckis’ oscar-winning Forrest Gump that released in 1994 and entered the elite movie club. Aamir Khan will play a man with a low IQ but lovable character while Kareena Kapoor Khan will portray his love interest in the storyline going through iconic events of Indian politics.
Helmed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is being shot at 100 locations across the country and will hit the big screen on Christmas 2020.
