It was earlier confirmed that Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon will be reuniting for Abhishek Jain’s next and now the project has a title which sums up the storyline. Director Abhishek Jain recently confirmed that his next with Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon has been titled as Second Innings.

The movie bringing Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon together again will revolve around the life of a couple living with a void in their lives and decides to adopt parents, which are to be played by Paresh Rawal and Dimple Kapadia. While the star cast is undoubtedly promising and we are expecting nothing but brilliance, the movie will also tackle an underlined social issue.

Now titled Second Innings was scheduled to go on the floors in the month of March but had to halt its pre-production in the wake of Coronavirus. The director said that the first leg of the movie will be shot in Delhi once the situation returns to normalcy. Earlier, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon shared screen space in the comedy-drama, Bareilly Ki Barfi, which also starred Ayushmann Khurrana in the key role. The trio was lauded by the audiences and it was an unexpected hit at the box office.
