Shah Rukh Khan is undoubtedly one of the greatest actors the Indian film industry has ever produced and the megastar enjoys a gigantic fan following across the globe. However, after the box office failure of his last release Zero, SRK has been on a self-imposed sabbatical for years and his fans are eagerly waiting to see him back in action. While the actor announced many exciting projects slated for release next year, the action thriller Jawan has reportedly earned a whopping amount of 250 crore Indian rupees.
Shah Rukh Khan announced a collaboration with critically-acclaimed director Atlee in June and the fans have been going gaga over his new avatar for the pan-India action thriller Jawan ever since. While the movie is slated for a release next year, the latest report suggests that the makers have already made a profit out of the project months before its theatrical release.
According to the media reports, the makers of Jawan have sold the all-India satellite rights of the movie to Zee TV and the digital rights to the streaming giant Netflix for a whopping 250 crore Indian rupees. The Atlee directorial is slated for a release in June next year and enjoys a stellar star cast including Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi besides Shah Rukh Khan as the protagonist.
Besides Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan is also prepping for the release of his next Pathan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie is currently the most anticipated project of the actor and also features a cameo of Salman Khan. SRK will also collaborate with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani for the immigration drama Dunki.
