Over the last couple of days, the entire nation is burning with the ongoing strong debate related to the recently announced Citizenship Amendment Act 2019. Following the same, students of the major universities are protesting against the CAA and the protests recently turned violent when police intervened. While, many renowned television and Bollywood celebrities have also raised their voice and shared their opinions on the same, Savdhaan India fame anchor Sushant Singh had to pay a price for sharing his opinion.

Recently, anchor and actor, Sushant Singh, also shared his views on the ongoing debate through his social media handles and denounced the violent acts. However, his last tweet in the series took the internet by storm as he hinted that he was removed as an anchor from the popular crime television show, Savdhaan India, for supporting the protests. The actor wrote, “And, my stint with Savdhaan India has ended.”

As soon as his tweet spread over the microblogging website, Twitterati extended their support towards the actor as a few called him ‘real hero’. While Sushant Singh will not be hosting the much-loved show, there has been no official statement for his replacement so far. Earlier, Tisca Chopra and Ashutosh Rana have hosted the show in his absence.
