Krrish franchise is India’s most loved and successful superhero series of the Bollywood industry and the three instalments of the movie have generated great remuneration at the box office. While the fans have been eagerly waiting for the next instalment in the franchise, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan confirmed the fourth and fifth sequels to the superhero series.

While the much-speculated fourth instalment to the Krrish franchise has been making headlines for years, recent reports suggest that Sanjay Gupta would take over the director’s chair from Rakesh Roshan for the upcoming superhero flick. Clearing the air out on such claims, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta came out and said, “All I can say for now is that I’m a part of the writing team. Other than that, whatever is to be communicated on the film will be done by Rakesh ji (Roshan) since Krissh is his franchise.”

While the directed didn’t deny the reports, we will have to wait for an official confirmation from Rakesh Roshan. Talking about the franchise, it was earlier reported that the next instalment to the series would be released in two parts, namely Krrish 4 and Krrish 5, with more twists to the original superhero story. While the project is still in the writing stage, the next instalment will have to wait for a while to see the sun.

On the other hand, director Sanjay Gupta is directing his next, Mumbai Saga, which stars John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Sunil Shetty in the gangster drama. The first look posters of the movie were unveiled today and received a great response from the audiences.
