Indian actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been one of the most sought-after actresses in the South Indian film industries and the actress won many hearts with her performance in the successful thriller series, The Family Man 2. After getting her due recognition in the digital format, she will soon be making her debut in Bollywood with Taapsee Pannu bankrolling the project.
According to reports, Samantha is in advance talks with Taapsee Pannu’s production house, Outsiders Films, for a female-centric Bollywood thriller and if it materializes as expected, it will mark Samantha’s first work in Bollywood. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same yet. Meanwhile, she will be seen in two Tamil-Telugu bilingual films that are under production.
Samantha also collaborated with the makers of Pushpa: The Rise featuring Allu Arjun in the lead for a special number, Oo Antava. The song was loved by the fans and instantly went viral after its release. “Pushpa’s 5th song is special, and needed someone special. We reached out to our very special Samantha Garu and she gleefully agreed to come on board owing to the rapport we’ve developed over time,” read the statement released by the makers of Pushpa: The Rise.
On the other hand, Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in the upcoming thriller, Looop Lapeta, co-starring Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shreya Dhanwanthary. The movie is reported to be the Hindi remake of the popular classic, Run Lola Run.
