Samantha Akkineni is a well-known name in the Indian entertainment industry with her dominance in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. The actress, who has been a part of several superhit movies, is making her digital debut with the successful thriller franchise, The Family Man. In a recent media encounter, she revealed the delay in signing a Hindi language project.

Last week, the much-awaited trailer of the highly-anticipated web series, The Family Man 2, was released featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni pitted against each other. While the fans are eager to see the continuation of the story plot and the digital debut of Samantha Akkineni, the actress went candid about signing a Hindi project while talking to tabloid, Bollywood Hungama.

While Samantha was promoting her movie in an interview with the tabloid, she was asked why it took so long to her first Hindi project? With humility, the Oh! Baby actress said that she was scared of the talent. “Because maybe I am scared? The talent here is amazing. I am scared,” she replied.

Revolving around the double life of a secret agent, Shrikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, The Family Man 2 introduces Samantha Akkineni as the antagonist of the show, Raji. Created by Raj & DK, the second instalment of the franchise will stream on Amazon Prime Video from 4 June.
