Salman Khan and his family recently experienced a huge loss as one of his family members, Abdullah Khan, died in Mumbai on the 30th of March. As per the reports, Salman Khan’s nephew was suffering from diabetes and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai when his condition deteriorated.
Abdullah Khan was initially admitted to the Dhirubhai Kokilaben Hospital after he felt uneasy and was shifted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra when Salman Khan learnt about his situation. Doctors tried their level best but couldn’t save the 38-year-old bodybuilder. As per the reports, Abdullah succumbed to a heart attack.
Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan have said that the unfortunate demise of Abdullah Khan took a heavy toll as he was a very close family member. Salman also took to his social media handle to share a picture of him along with his nephew, Abdullah Khan, and wrote, “Will always love you….”
While the loss is undoubtedly heavy for the Khan family, Salman Khan wouldn’t be able to attend the funeral ceremonies of Abdullah amid the nationwide lockdown. Salman’s family is currently in Panvel, Maharashtra while the body of Abdullah has been taken to Indore via an ambulance for his last rituals. Due to the travel restrictions imposed on the nation to curb the spread of the coronavirus, Salman Khan will be travelling to Indore to meet his family once the situation gets normal.
