Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the greatest actors of the Bollywood industry and the actor enjoys an enormous fan following. While the actor is also known to have a great sense of humour and has hosted a variety of television and award shows, Salman Khan has never hosted the prestigious IIFA awards before and it will be the first time that the superstar takes command of the stage.
In a recent press meeting that happened on Monday in Bhopal, the news was confirmed by Salman Khan that he will be hosting the award night in March. Since the IIFA 2020 will be happening in Indore and Salman Khan’s family belongs to the city, he was more than excited to be the part of the show. The actor also added that his sister Alvira Agnihotri was born in Indore.
Talking about the award show, the much-speculated 21st International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards will take place in Indore from the 27th of March to 29th of March. While the pre-event festivals including IIFA Rocks and Technical awards will be held in the city of Bhopal on the 21st of March. Salman Khan, who will be hosting the main night, will be accompanied by Riteish Deshmukh.
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for his next, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, will filmmaker Prabhu Deva. Meanwhile, he is also hosting the much-loved and controversial celebrity-based television reality show, Bigg Boss 13.
