Salman Khan starrer Radhe to miss its Eid release date amid Coronavirus scare, read details

The last couple of outings of Salman Khan failed to live up to the expectations of the makers and turned out to be a dud at the box office. While the megastar was preparing for a comeback with Prabhu Deva directorial Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai which was touted to be different than the usual Salman Khan movies, it hit a roadblock amid the nationwide lockdown.

After the makers had to cancel the movie shoot in Thailand when the country became a hotspot for Coronavirus, the shoot was shifted to Mumbai and would have been completed early than scheduled. However, the shooting hit a roadblock when leading film bodies decided to halt all shoots from 19 March which was followed by a 21-days nationwide lockdown announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

While as per the reports, only the patchwork and a song are due for the shoot, the post-production of the scenes is also standstill as all VFX studios are shut. The source claimed that even if the lockdown is lifted as scheduled, it will be a challenge to complete the shooting and the post-production while taking the necessary precautions for COVID-19 before the release date of the movie. Therefore, the makers have decided to skip the scheduled release date of Eid for Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.

Eid has always been a profitable release date for Salman Khan and his fans were eagerly waiting for the release of his next cop-drama but we will have to wait until the situation comes under control for the safety of everyone.
