Salman Khan is one of the most controversial celebrities of the Indian film industry and is battling a number of legal cases. While the actor has been acquitted from the hit and run case, he is due to appear in the court for the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Meanwhile, a member of the Facebook group of the Student Union of the Punjab University.

A post published by a person named Garry Shooter in the Facebook group of Punjab University’s Student Union reads,” Salman you may think that you can escape from the Indian law, but the Bishnoi community and Sopu party have given you a death sentence. You are guilty in Sopu court. Salaam sahid da nu; Respect girls; Save animals; Avoid drugs & help poors; Sukha kahlon Garry.”

The post has been published in Hindi originally and has Salman Khan’s picture attached with it. While the post went viral, Police is investigating the matter and has assured that the security for the Dabangg actor has been increased. “The police are on alert. We also gave proper security to the celebrity when he came here for hearing previously. An investigation has been initiated,” said DCP Dharmendra Yadav.

On the work front, Salman Khan is about to wrap shooting for the third instalment of the actioner series Dabangg along with Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and Sudeep in prominent characters. Helmed by Prabhu Deva, Dabangg 3 is slated to a release on 20 December 2019.
