Filmmaker Sajid Khan is a well-known name in the Bollywood industry and has been a part of many iconic movies. However, the entire industry went under shock when he was accused of sexual harassment by many in 2018. The filmmaker faced criticism for the allegations against him and the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association imposed a year ban on him.
Sajid Khan has last directed Akshay Kumar starrer reincarnation comedy-drama, Housefull 4, however, he was ousted as a director from the movie after facing #MeToo allegations. He was replaced by Farhad Samji and ever since, he has been absent from the industry. However, if reports are to be believed, he is all set to make his comeback in Bollywood with a comedy-drama featuring John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh.
According to the report, Sajid Khan has been in talks with John Abraham for a comedy movie and he will be donning the director’s hat. The yet-to-be-titled project is reportedly already in the making and Sajid Khan will be helmiing it after a sabbatical of years. The 50-year-old wanted to work on a comedy project soon after his ban is lifted and was in talks with the lead actors.
Featuring John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh, the movie is expected to go on the floors in the mid-next year. The movie will be bankrolled by Amar Butala who is currently busy in pre-production work with Shahid Kapoor starrer Bull.
