Aneet Padda, who became the face of Gen Z in India after the record-breaking success of Saiyaara, is preparing to take her college final-year exams this December and January. Despite being one of the youngest rising stars in Bollywood, Aneet continues to balance her academic commitments alongside her growing film career.
A source close to the actress revealed, “It’s truly inspiring that Aneet Padda, despite her massive success, is staying committed to her education. She will appear for her final-year B.A. (Hons.) Political Science exams before beginning the shoot for her next big film, Shakti Shalini, produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.”
The source further added, “Aneet is managing both her studies and professional life with remarkable discipline. Her team has designed her schedule carefully to ensure she can dedicate enough time to academics while fulfilling her work responsibilities.”
Aneet made her big-screen debut with Yash Raj Films’ Saiyaara, co-starring Ahaan Panday. The romantic musical not only became the highest-grossing love story in Indian cinema but also turned Aneet into a national sensation. Her breakout performance caught the attention of Dinesh Vijan, who personally chose her to headline Shakti Shalini, the next film in his successful horror-comedy franchise.
At just 22, Aneet became the youngest actor to lead a major Indian film franchise. Shakti Shalini is slated for release on December 24, 2026, securing her another milestone, being the youngest actor to have a major holiday release, a slot traditionally reserved for Bollywood’s biggest superstars.
