The Hindi remake of the popular Tamil-language thriller, Vikram Vedha, has been one of the most exciting upcoming movies in the production and will be featuring Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the main roles. The movie has been in the headlines for its promising star cast and Saif Ali Khan shares more details about his portrayal of Vikram in the movie.
Saif Ali Khan recently received critical acclamation for his cop character in Netflix’s web series, Sacred Games, the actor compares his character with Vikram in the Hindi remake. The says, “I would say, Sartaj Singh was kind of a victim, who would be slapped around by almost everybody. His rise was from a slightly suicidal space to something else. He was a troubled and honest guy.” However, he shares that his character of Vikram is different and adds, “Vikram on the other hand is a very tough, successful and intelligent IPS kind of an officer. He is much more dynamic, confident and strong.”
The 51-year-old will be facing Hrithik Roshan as a mastermind criminal in the movie as the two will be pitted against each other in the movie. The Hindi remake will be backed by Neeraj Pandey under his company Friday Filmworks in association with Reliance Entertainment and YNot Studios. The movie is expected to go on the floors next month in UAE and Saif will be joining the crew in November.
