The much-awaited and anticipated trailer of the second season of widely popular Indian web series, Sacred Games, surfaced online today. The first Netflix Original series in India, Sacred Games, changed the face of digital platforms in India with its immense success and popularity. Everyone has been waiting for the trailer of the second season and earlier Netflix India teased about the same.
Based on the book of the same name, the trailer of Sacred Games 2 follows the story of the first season with the addition of some new characters in a more intense ‘game’. Pankaj Tripathi was introduced in the last season as Guruji but he seems to have the most important role to play in the second season. Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey join the cast as well while Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will reprise their characters.

Anurag Kashyap sits on the director’s chair once again while Masaan famed Neeraj Ghaywan replaces Vikramaditya Motwane as a co-director of the second series.
Sacred Games 2 will premiere on Netflix on the Indian Independence Day, i.e. 15th August.
