Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pedneker are taking their performances to a whole new level with exceptional characters in their respective movies. The actresses best known for their fearless avatars have gone de-glam yet again for their upcoming movie, Saand Ki Aankh, which is based on real stories of two women.

The first teaser of the movie dropped online today and the Jodi of Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pedneker is all prepped to hit the bull’s eye with their performances. The minute and a half long video gives a sneak peek into the lives of Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar, sister-in-laws struggling to pursue their passion in the male-dominated society.

The teaser gives away hints about the plot packed with high-intensity action and is all prepped to convey a message to the society. The performances of the lead actresses are palpable in the teaser and we expect the same throughout the entire movie. Vineet Kumar Singh, best known for Anurag Kashyap directorial Mukkabaaz, is equally commendable in the teaser.

The Tushar Hiranandani directorial was previously titled as Womaniya and is bankrolled by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Tomar. Saand Ki Aankh is slated to release on the occasion of Diwali.
