The fourth instalment to the blockbuster superhero franchise, Thor, is currently under production with great anticipation. Announced last year, Thor: Love And Thunder takes the journey of the God of Thunder to a new adventure and marks the return of Natalie Portman and Matt Demon. However, the movie has a lot more interesting additions which the audience is rooting for.
It was earlier informed that Russell Crowe has joined the cast of the much-awaited superhero drama and in a recent interview, he revealed his character details. Russell confirmed that he will be playing the character of Zeus, the sky and thunder god of Greek mythology, in the Chris Hemsworth starter. “Now I’m gonna get on my bicycle, I’m gonna ride up to Disney-Fox studios, and I’m gonna get the hot tongs out, and round about 9:15 I shall be Zeus in Thor 4. It’s my last day of Zeus-ing about, and I’m gonna enjoy it,” the actor said.
Russell is currently shooting in Australia with the rest of the cast and crew of Thor: Love And Thunder. Apart from Russell, the movie will also feature the English actor Christian Bale portraying the comic-book based character of Gorr – The God Butcher. Among many memorable characters, Christian is best known for portraying the caped crusader in DCEU and his fans are excited to see him in a Marvel movie.
With Chris Hemsworth reprising his character of Thor, the movie also features Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Helmed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love And Thunder is slated for a worldwide release on 6 May next year.
