Ajay Devgn’s Singham franchise has got bigger in scale as the filmmaker Rohit Shetty turned it into a cop universe with Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. While the cop-trio waits for the release of the much-awaited action movie of the year, Sooryavanshi, the report suggests that the team have already blocked a date for the third instalment of the Singham franchise.
According to our sources, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have blocked the date of Independence Day 2023 for the release of their upcoming collaboration, Singham 3. As per the reports, the third Singham movie will be set in the backdrop of Kashmir amid the turbulent Indo-Pak relationship. The makers feel the occasion of Independence Day to be most rewarding for the patriotic storyline of the movie.
The movie will be shot extensively in Kashmir and Delhi as Singham will take on the terror outfits hiding in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir in an action-packed sequel. Along with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are also expected to join the cast of the movie as Rohit Shetty plans to keep his cop universe intact in all the upcoming movies.
