In a shocking incident, senior journalist & popular anchor Rohit Sardana succumbed to COVID-19 on Friday. Rohit had earlier informed that he contracted the deadly virus on April 24. The late actor had tweeted that his RT-PCR test came out negative but CT-scan deleted COVID-19 infection in his lungs. The actor succumbed to a fatal heart attack on Friday morning.
Zee News’ senior journalist, Sudhir Chaudhary, confirmed the reports of Rohit’s untimely and shocking demise through his Twitter handle and wrote, “I received a call from @capt_ivane moments ago. My hands started to tremble after hearing what he said. There was news of the death of our friend and colleague Rohit Sardana. I had never imagined that the virus will take away someone so close to us. I was not ready for this. God has injustice..
