Rishi Kapoor is one of very few actors who has been in the industry for almost five decades. However, 8 months ago, his tweet broke many hearts when he announced about his cancer and left the country to get treatment in New York, USA.

Since then, his family and many Bollywood celebrities have been paying him a visit in New York and he has been tweeting updates about his health as well. Recently, Rishi Kapoor updated his fans that he might return to India before his 67th birthday on September 4.

In a conversation with leading entertainment daily, Rishi Kapoor said, “Yes, I am trying to return by August-end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back.”

We wish the actor a speedy recovery and hope that he returns to his motherland soon.
