Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai at an age of 67. He was hospitalized last night after his health deteriorated and the entire entertainment industry woke up with a shock as one of the biggest gems of India left the world.
Rishi Kapoor was rushed to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday after his health deteriorated. Brother Randhir Kapoor had confirmed about the news of his hospitalization and said, “It’s true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some problem, so we admitted him.”
When asked if it was an emergency, Randhir Kapoor had given an affirmation and said that he would fight back from the illness with his wife, Neetu Kapoor, by his side. However, the morning devastated one and all when the shocking news of his demise came out. His friend and actor, Amitabh Bachchan, took to his social media handle to announce his death and wrote, “He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”

The actor was earlier diagnosed with a severe infection in the month of February due to pollution and was admitted in the hospital. The actor also spent a year in New York for the treatment of his cancer and came back to India in the month of September last year.
It was just yesterday when the critically acclaimed Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left the world creating a void in the entertainment industry, losing another celebrated actor just today is devastating and has shocked millions of his fans and the entire industry.
